I installed the updates from adobe's website starting at the bottom with 9.1. after almost every update i had to reboot. after each reboot i tried opening acrobat.. My company recently got in the cd's from adobe for acrobat 9 professional and acrobat 9 standard. i installed acrobat 9 pro on one of our systems.. If this junk isn't occasionally cleaned out, it can cause adobe acrobat to respond slowly or provides an 9 error, possibly due to file conflicts or an overloaded hard drive. cleaning up these temporary files with disk cleanup might not only solve your 9 error, but can also dramatically speed up the performance of your pc..
